“Ein Umweg lohnt sich, wir kommen gerne wieder!”
The owners waited for us late into the evening, so we couldn’t see how wonderful the castle looked upon arrival. The next morning a lovingly set breakfast table awaited us with a view of the park and many homemade treats, especially Madame’s chocolate cake, which was heavenly! Our room and bathroom were spacious and clean, with a stunning morning view of the lake. The house’s history, shared by the lady of the house after breakfast, was very interesting. A morning walk through the estate thrilled us; a carpet of small alpine violets ran through the adjacent forest. Definitely recommended! A heartfelt thank you for a dream‑like stay!
