The owner greeted us with a jovial and friendly welcome, parking was free and easy, the atmosphere had a small retro vibe, breakfast was perfect, and the hotel was fairly well‑located in a complicated city. There was no elevator.

The room was poorly maintained—the toilet seat was broken, the air‑conditioning was noisy, and the floor was damaged. I was charged €115.20 per night for the room even though the rate shown on Booking was €110, and the extra costs like the city tax and breakfast only became clear after I received the detailed invoice post‑payment.
