“Quiet Rural stay in an old Farmhouse - very restful”

This is a true farmhouse – a unique experience – it’s out of town and perched up a big hill, so be ready for that. The place is spacious and the owner supplied essentials like tea and coffee. It’s quiet with a nice garden to unwind after a day of travel, and the night skies are amazing once dark. I cycled there, used the secure garage storage, and Garmin GPS guided me straight to the spot. The lounge is large and the bed is comfortable; I was the only guest at the time, but there are three bedrooms, so it could get more social when full. There’s no Wi‑Fi, but phone reception is fine.

The hosts didn’t open the hotel, and my driver had to wait there for over four hours before being forced to leave because they wouldn’t let him in.

“Très agréable”

Breakfasts were great and the reception was very good. The house is huge and old, filled with period trinkets, and the garden is very calm.
