“Not recommended due to staff behaviour”

The property is large and roomy, but from start to finish the experience was terrible: after a phone call the staff insisted on booking through them directly, citing extra charges, and they pushed us to hire a driver who cost twice what we’d paid our own; we waited over thirty minutes for a room, the AC didn’t work at first, and they forced us to order food because they claimed we wouldn’t eat enough; the next day we were surprised by extra charges for dinner and tea at checkout, and the overall behaviour was awful—booking directly seems preferable, and the Wi‑Fi was unusable.

Everything worked well, except some fixtures were odd—like the very small washbasin in the main room and a soap tray awkwardly placed over it, which could bump your forehead while washing your face.

The property sits neither in a crowded city center nor in a remote spot, just 2 km from Jhargram railway station, and the food, room service, room size, and ventilation stood out as the main highlights.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel, thanks to the excellent room and very good service I received. However, I was a bit disappointed with the hotel's location and found the room needed a bit more attention to cleaning.
