The location was “deep in the jungle,” almost cut off from the outside world. With two large suitcases, the space felt tight.

The garden is beautiful, the architecture is wonderful, and everything felt very authentic. The view is nice, and you can book paid tours. You can also walk on your own along the street if you wish. It’s authentic, but for an average European city person it might be a bit of an adjustment: open rooms and bathrooms (insects) and the toilet/bathroom are a bit far from the room. At night and in the rain it can feel a bit spooky, and you have to be careful not to step into a deep puddle.
