The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially when I called before check‑in to say I’d be late because my train was cancelled. They provided clean towels, shower gel, and coffee, and handed me a clothes iron when I needed it; I also had access to communal microwaves. It was a pleasant stay, though there were stains on the pillowcases.

I had to wait for a staff member to check me in, but they were friendly. The wait to check in was annoying.

The location was good and the receptionist was lovely. The carpet felt like an old nightclub and needed a lot of cleaning; the bathroom tap was broken, but I was told about it and it didn’t affect my stay. It didn’t feel welcoming and felt slightly unsafe for a lone female. I stayed in the room for about 8 hours just to sleep before work early in the morning, and the rooms seemed intended for a safe B&B for the homeless.
