I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. After booking, I read reviews and was shocked, but the hotel turned out to be nothing like the descriptions. No bedbugs. The bed, linens, towels, and terry bathrobe in the room were excellent. The location is superb, with a metro and bus stop nearby; Moulin Rouge is 4 minutes away, Montmartre 15 minutes, and Galeries Lafayette 20 minutes on foot. It’s a quiet neighborhood. There are plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. Finding a hotel at this price in Paris is practically impossible. Breakfast is decent, offering everything needed—eggs, bread, cheese, ham, yogurt, cereal, tea, coffee. The lobby has a capsule coffee machine with unlimited use. The lift works, Wi‑Fi is functional, the room is clean, and the water is hot/cold. The staff are responsive. I liked everything. The only thing to note is that the hotel doesn’t mention a tourist tax at checkout; it’s small but still an unpleasant surprise when you’re unaware of an extra charge.

The hotel is small but atmospheric, with excellent, helpful staff, and it’s in a fantastic location. It’s clear that the golden days are behind it; the rooms and bathrooms could use a refresh.
