The staff were friendly and polite; when I left an item behind, they kindly mailed it back to me. The rooms are clean, yet very plain, clearly adapted rather than designed for comfort. Bright colours, low ceilings, and a quiet setting; the electric shower was pleasantly hot. Breakfast was simple, served in a modest space that still felt well attended, a touch of care in the simplicity. The mattress had standard springs, not pocketed, and showed heavy use. If you’re after comfort and coziness, this won’t deliver; if you just need a basic, well‑located spot, it works—about a one‑star experience. The strong colours, stuffy feel, worn spring mattress, and lack of comfort are the main drawbacks.

The location is good, close to the city centre. Breakfast met my needs, towels were clean and odorless, blankets were clean and odorless as well. The reception was awful; my registration wasn’t ready even though I had notified them of my arrival in advance and paid ahead. The room was poorly maintained: bad lighting in the bathroom, a clogged shower, a loose toilet lid, and a bathroom cabinet in terrible condition. The blankets were clean but very old and rough.

Everyone was attentive and empathetic, making you feel at home. Breakfast was well supplied and everything was delicious. There were no negatives; the hotel met all my lodging needs.
