The hotel sits close to the GEM museum, and the rooftop terrace restaurant is great with a stunning panoramic view of both the museum and the Giza pyramids. Breakfast is excellent, featuring Egyptian dishes, and the staff are very welcoming. The bedding and room are superb, and the restaurant stays open all night with hearty portions. Wi‑Fi and TV work fine, and there’s a good selection of tours that can be arranged on the spot, even the day before, with or without a guide. The only downside is that you’re forced to hire a driver for every trip – even to the GEM – and there are no other nearby restaurants, so you feel a bit trapped. Information about tours can be unclear: they don’t always specify the car type, whether the driver speaks English, if the car is air‑conditioned, or whether site tickets are included. The lunch and dinner menus also lack typical Egyptian dishes like koshari, mollohia, and tagines. The restaurant doesn’t serve wine, but the front desk can obtain it for you.

The room was cozy, the beds were good, cleanliness was fine, service was excellent, and breakfast was plentiful and to my liking – a solid start to the day, and dinner was also very good. The terrace view was fantastic. Chef Mohammed was extremely helpful and courteous. I’d gladly return.

The breakfast was very Arab‑influenced, but the rooftop restaurant makes up for it with its view of the pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum. The shuttle organization to and from the GEM was a bit chaotic because the contact listed was the reception of the sister hotel, which caused confusion.
