“A memorable and authentic experience of Solomon Island culture”
Lily was an amazing host, sharing a lot of local knowledge and cooking fantastic meals daily; we had an authentic experience with plenty of activities like hiking, snorkeling, and village visits, even getting to see the local church and glimpse village life. If you’re a teacher, bring some school supplies because the island has limited resources. The only thing we’d suggest is checking your walking ability before the hike—our fit selves found the rugged descent tough without proper shoes, and wearing long pants helps when you’re in thick bushland. The hike’s difficulty isn’t clearly explained beforehand, so bring extra cash if you plan to do the activities, as they can be a bit pricey (not a drawback, just a budgeting note).
