The Cawdor

We’ve been back here many times and it never disappoints. Everyone on the staff was great, the room was lovely, the bath was huge and the shower was separate. The bed was incredible; I slept like a baby. Dinner at the restaurant had amazing service and food, and the next‑day breakfast was also delicious – the Welsh breakfast was top quality, with no oily or greasy bits. Llandeilo is small but has a few nice shops and bars/bistros for drinks. We keep coming back because it’s a little haven when we need a break from life.

From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome. We were early, so our luggage was stored safely. When my wife came back to finish checking in, a very helpful staff member carried our bags to the room. Our spacious room was superb and had everything we needed. The bar/lounge area exuded character and charm. Our evening meal was exceptional, tasty, and satisfying, as was our substantial breakfast. Every staff member we met was exemplary and a credit to the Cawdor. We can’t recommend the hotel highly enough and look forward to a second visit.

Everyone on the team was welcoming, friendly, and engaging. Every single staff member we met was lovely. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed a lovely meal in the evening restaurant; the food was plentiful and delicious, we couldn’t fault it. Breakfast was also great, with options ranging from cereal, fresh fruit, yogurts, toast, and pastries to cooked breakfast items available to order. There were also a variety of fruit juices, tea, and coffee. We’ll definitely return to The Cawdor.
