The room size is good, parking is a breeze, and the restaurant serves good food. The view was below expectation because a curtain must be drawn for privacy, which sacrifices the view. A makeover is needed, and there are too many rules with monetary penalties if not followed, which feels a bit unnecessary.

Stunning environment with beautiful outlook in every direction Comfortable spacious room with good amenities We were the only people in residence over 3 days but the staff were very attentive and helpful. This property is very tired and looks as though it receives little ongoing maintenance

The rooms and grounds were kept tidy and beautiful, and the staff were fantastic. Breakfast was a treat, especially the omelette we recommend, and we enjoyed watching the turkeys wander around. Several facilities were closed, which was understandable given the quietness, but a heads‑up would have helped. The water supply had problems, and placing an open bottle in the room felt unhygienic; a clean jug might have been better.

I dined at the restaurant on the first night and the food was excellent. The second night I ate at the bar, and the food was again great. The staff were accommodating, cheerful, and truly a credit to the estate. Nothing else comes to mind.

The room was large, had plenty of storage, a spacious bathroom, a great view, and was quiet. The bed and shower were comfortable, and the room was clean. The restaurant offered fantastic views and delicious food, with excellent service. We had a wonderful stay. The only downside was that the restaurant could have been heated; otherwise everything was fine.
