The bathroom area was clean and the location was good, but the room smelled damp and had a strong moldy odor that made it feel uncomfortably humid.

I loved the facilities and the neighborhood. The only downside was that when I was checking out, I asked the front‑desk ladies for help finding a taxi, but the staff didn’t speak much English. One woman in the office below, without greeting me, understood that I wanted a taxi and told her colleague in a very bad manner that they couldn’t arrange it. Aside from that, the facilities were fine, but that woman was very unpleasant.

The residential area is well connected: it’s a 5‑minute walk to the OEDO line and 10‑15 minutes to the YAMANOTE line, and a 20‑minute walk from Shinjuku center. The double room with a terrace was larger than usual and very clean. There was a shared WC among three rooms. The only thing that bothered us was that to get to the showers you have to go down three flights of steep outdoor stairs.

The place was spotless.

It sits in a quiet spot and is near several train and bus stations. Self‑check‑in was easy, and the staff responded well online.
