25 m² · 1 double bed
“Catastrophique”
The hotel seemed to be well‑furnished on paper, yet only one guard was present, cleaning a pool that had gone bad. The rooms and the hotel itself felt abandoned. Cleaning staff arrived with two managers who sat with their phones while the others ran around. There were no clean sheets, the dinner was inedible, and there was absolutely no breakfast because nobody was there.
“Il posto non vale il prezzo che ho pagato.”
The place is nothing like the photos; we had to wait for someone to open it.
“Verschrikkelijk”
T could have been nice. Everything! The pool water was green, the glass terrace tables were dangerously cracked, there was a trip‑hazard pit on the terrace, sheets with stains and on the door… for 67 € per night I expected more. The only thing the owner said was “sorry, sorry” and that he found the swimming water fine, sorry, we had to find another place and pay, so it turned into a pricey night and the listing said “fast internet” but there was no internet.
“Nul.”
The reception was dreadful, the sheets were barely clean, we booked for two days but left two hours later, and the front desk person didn’t even ask why we wanted to leave… never again!
When we arrived the first impression was good; everything looked nice and well‑decorated. Unfortunately no one was at the front desk for check‑in, so we had to do it by phone. A very friendly concierge and chef were there and handled everything for us. The pool was dirty. The location was disappointing – no desert vibe and the town was not fun. In the restaurants there were only men and a lot of guys on scooters and mopeds that made the town feel unsafe. The room was very noisy at night because of continuous barking from many stray dogs, and it sounded like the muezzin was next to the hotel.
