“great stay with beautiful local setting”

The location is perfect if you want to soak up local life and scenery, it’s quiet and peaceful with a nice view of the flowing river, and the staff are friendly and helpful; the setting is beautiful and we really enjoyed our time there. However, it feels more suited to those seeking a restful escape than to people who thrive on a bustling lifestyle, and the property is a bit isolated when it comes to finding other dining options, although the hotel’s restaurant stays open all day.

“Perfecte rust gelegen vlakbij centrum.”

The spot was great, the bistro was quiet, and the reception dog in a knitted sweater (I forgot its name) added charm; we even extended our stay by three days. The bathroom smelled because of a sewer line issue, the bed was very hard, but otherwise the room was spotless thanks to the diligent staff.

The property is surrounded by greenery, a solid option if you want to escape the bustle. We also tried the breakfast for 200 Thb per person at a riverside venue that’s well equipped. The room was rather damp with a musty smell. Its location outside the city forces you to use Grab or rent a scooter – we knew that and it wasn’t a problem. Keep that in mind if you plan tours, as the area is typically outside the withdrawal zone unless you’re doing private tours.

Great riverside location and a very friendly setup. It’s a bit off‑center, but that makes it nicely quiet.
