The room was dirty. The floor probably hadn’t been cleaned for weeks, with wool mites everywhere. The lampshades were broken. The bathroom wasn’t clean either. No staff were visible at breakfast. The scrambled eggs were cold and the sausage was the cheapest. The reception was also closed on Sunday.

The room was spacious and the bed large, but there was no electricity in the room, so no lights, no TV, and the only outlet that worked was in the bathroom, which also had the light; the bathroom cleanliness was poor, with slick tiles, an unclean toothbrush holder, a limescale‑covered shower head, and a slick shower cabin door; the windows were dirty and the view from the windows faced a restaurant wall, and there was a smell coming from the restaurant.
