I was really looking forward to staying at this place, but unfortunately, things didn't go as planned. Despite confirming my booking and paying in advance, I was abruptly told that they couldn't accommodate me on the day of my arrival. I was left feeling frustrated and disappointed, especially after reading all the positive reviews.

Asama camp is a hidden gem, tucked away at the edge of the dunes. The staff are incredibly friendly and communication is seamless, which made our stay all the more enjoyable. The only downside is that the camp's location is a bit misleading on Google Maps – it's actually situated next to other camps. But the real magic happens when you arrive, either by jeep or camel ride, which costs around 50-70 euros per person, both ways.

I'd give Asama camp a solid 20 out of 10 – it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish! The staff were super friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious, and the accommodation was comfortable. The organization of our arrival and departure was seamless, and the full-day excursion was expertly planned. The drivers were incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and the staff at the camp were always on hand to help.
