The location is amazing, the staff are friendly, and the rooms are affordable for the value you get. The strict 8 am checkout time was scary because we thought we might incur extra charges if we stayed longer. The rooms were good though.

Dear Customer Support, I need to file a formal complaint about a payment issue with a hotel booked through your platform. I booked a standard room and checked in at 10:00 PM, checking out the next morning at 8:50 AM. I used the room only during that time and also received morning tea and breakfast for two people. The hotel first charged LKR 5,950 for the room and those services, which I accepted. Later, the manager added LKR 1,000 for an extra 50 minutes, claiming my stay went beyond the standard checkout time. The hotel’s stated charging period is 4:00 PM to 8:00 AM, a 16‑hour block, so the approximate cost per hour is about LKR 312.50. My total stay was about 10 hours and 50 minutes, so charging the full room rate plus an extra fee seems unreasonable and unethical. I also didn’t use the room between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM, which was part of the chargeable period. I respectfully request a review of this matter and an investigation into whether the hotel’s charging practice is fair and consistent with the terms presented during booking. Thank you for your help in resolving this issue.

I was blown away by the experience, but there was a slight chill that made it a bit cool.
