Apartament Chaika

The spot is great, a balcony shows the sea and the terrace next to the room lets you sip coffee with a sea view. It’s quiet, shops, market and bakeries are close by. The hosts are responsive and friendly, they even let us in early. The sea is a five‑minute walk, the beach stretches long, the entry is convenient, though the coral slippers might bother you. The room had everything needed, even a kitchen. We booked a two‑bedroom unit, which was handy because there are two showers and toilets. The only hiccup was the electric kettle that didn’t work, so we had to brew coffee in a cup; the hair dryer was in the second toilet but there were no sockets to plug it in, so we all used the same one. Overall, just small stuff.

Nice apartment in a good location, especially liked the rooftop terrace. It seemed common in Georgia for bathrooms to be built in the middle of the apartment, and because ventilation isn’t perfect, there’s a musty smell even when the bathrooms are clean.

Liked the hotel’s location, everything is nearby: sea, cafés, shops, bank, phone service, and the center is also close. It’s not noisy and cozy. The lady running the hotel is friendly and helpful.
