The garden surrounding the cottage was a real highlight – we could sit outside for hours and even grill a sausage if we felt like it. The host was quick to reply to any questions, which made the short overnight stay feel smooth. Nothing was particularly bad, everything was just fine.

The cottage was roomy enough for a small group and sat on a big garden with all the usual comforts. Unfortunately the ground‑floor toilet was out of order and the upstairs shower was cramped and low because of the sloping roof. Still, the place was spotless and pleasant overall.

Staying in the newly renovated cottage was fantastic; the space felt beautiful and the surroundings were charming. The owner was extremely kind and attentive, and everything from the fresh linens to the fully stocked kitchen and the fire‑pit area was spot‑on. It was hard to find any fault.
