“Horrible - DO NOT STAY HERE”

Nothing at all! The property is a huge letdown. The “pool” shown on the roof is not a pool, and the onsens are strictly separate male/female—no mixed. The pillows and bedding feel cheap and nasty. The staff were some of the worst we’ve met; we felt unwelcome as Westerners from the moment we arrived. Everything was cheaply done, the hotel is massively overpriced, and it seems Westerners are charged more than locals. The place wasn’t clean—windows hadn’t been washed in ages, and the private onsen on the balcony was dirty. The staff were atrocious, extremely unhelpful, even aggressively rude and intimidating. Natamae at reception was especially disrespectful, making us feel uncomfortable the entire stay.
