The bedroom is a good size and having a restaurant on site is convenient. There’s a nice walk nearby. The decor and fixtures feel very dated, but the place is clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

I was told beforehand that the bar downstairs played loud music, and it really lived up to that warning—so much so that I won't reserve here again.

I found the location decent, but there was no one to serve tea or coffee for breakfast; I had to set up a toaster myself and ask a cleaner for coffee and juice. Nobody was on hand to help with anything, and the cleaners were doing everything, which is unacceptable. I was told there would be music on Friday and Saturday, which was fine, but I stayed from Monday to Thursday and loud music played until 11:00 every night. I had to keep the window shut because of smokers outside. The shower screen in the ensuite was broken and the door was hanging off; a continuous puddle of water in the ensuite forced me to clean it up myself. All fixtures and fittings were old and scruffy, and there was no reception staff to speak to or resolve these issues.
