The spot is nice because it’s just outside the city bustle but still within walking distance. The price, however, feels way too high for a room that’s basically basic and a basic bed. The shower near the common area was odd and its door was broken so it couldn’t close. The common areas also had a strong cold tobacco smell.

The "Felsina" apartment was clean, tastefully decorated, and the private bathroom was very spacious. The location was excellent: about 20 minutes on foot from the train station, roughly 30 minutes to the historic centre, and buses run too. The neighbourhood is hardly touristy, so everything was very relaxed and nights were quiet. We also liked the shared kitchen, even though we only used it for cooling our provisions and a morning coffee. Stefano’s communication was clear, professional, and friendly, and we felt very comfortable. Grazie!

Everything was perfect, the host was genuinely kind and welcomed me right away. I already knew about the shared bathroom and the kitchen’s proximity, but honestly it didn’t bother me much because I ran into very few other tourists during my stay. The room was large (as was the bathroom), and the little balcony was very nice. Wifi and TV worked. The area is quiet. The only issue was that the TV behind the wall could have been dusted a bit (I noticed it because I had to plug it in). Keep in mind the area isn’t central; it’s convenient for those coming from the station (15 minutes on foot), but if you want to go to the centre you’ll have to walk a bit. There are buses, so that’s not a problem. Also, I think the tourist tax was a bit high, especially since I wasn’t staying in Bologna centre but Bolognina, and it should have been specified on booking.

The location, cleanliness, and order of the property, plus the privacy, kindness, and professionalism of Stefano, were all great. Everything was fine.
