A beautiful manor house with a garden and views over the Somerset hills. We were able to check in early, which was great, and were given a tour of this historic and beautifully furnished property right away. The garden is a lovely spot for picnics and reading a book. What a wonderful place to relax and enjoy without having to go out.

The owner is warm and engaged. The room is great with a beautiful view over the hills. The breakfast is lovely, especially with fresh fruit. The house feels historic and the owner loves telling stories about it. The owner responded calmly when I, to my surprise, noticed that I had come in with dirty shoes. Nothing else.

The hostess was engaging; the country home was interesting, comfortable, and characterful with a lovely garden and views, and there was plenty of parking, though the entrance could be clearer about where to park on arrival.
