The experience is truly unique and wonderful, unlike anything else; staying here means being guided by extraordinary people who effortlessly share their passion for the desert, wildlife, and culture. Sleeping in such an incredibly beautiful place is fascinating, and missing it once in a lifetime would be a mistake. The dinner is sumptuous, crafted with great care by the Chef. The nighttime camel walk feels a bit over‑the‑top and pricey for the enjoyment it offers, though the guide is adorable.

The place offered good value and every employee was kind and upbeat, the tent was spacious with an amazing view, and despite the desert setting the room stayed warm with thick blankets that let me sleep soundly, hot water flowed well, and although the bathroom isn’t what you’d expect from a five‑star hotel it was functional and there were no major issues—just remember to bring your own towel. The terrace let me soak up the quiet desert, the tours were decent and passed by in about three‑quarters of an hour. The only hassle was having to stop at the office before entering the desert to pay, which felt a bit pushy, and the staff there sometimes seemed a little off‑beat, but going with a group is advisable.

Perfect stay: the tent suite was huge with a private bathroom and plenty of hot water (though you shouldn’t waste it), and a large terrace outside the room could be cleared so you could sleep under the open sky and watch the desert sunrise (you can also see it from inside). The linens weren’t spotless but were quite good. The half‑day jeep tour we booked through the camp was fantastic, showing us two arches and a flawless sunset—absolutely beautiful.
