Travelling on the Nile was a real treat, and we enjoyed the Turkish coffee on board. However, we did feel like the staff were expecting us to tip for every little thing, which got a bit old. When we checked out, they even gave us an empty envelope and asked for 15% of our accommodation cost as a tip, which felt a bit cheeky since we'd already been tipping generously throughout our stay.

We had an amazing experience on this Nile cruise ship. The atmosphere and service were top-notch, with huge rooms (ours was 37 sqm) and super comfy beds. The bathroom was spotless and the staff went above and beyond, like our captain who organized a special dinner for us by the pool. The minibar was restocked daily with freebies like beer and Western soft drinks. Meals were delicious and varied, with a different theme every night.

We were really impressed with the exceptional service from the MS Esmeralda team. We'd read some not-so-great reviews online, but our experience far exceeded our expectations. We booked a 4-day, 3-night cruise from Aswan and were pleased with the food, clean and comfy rooms, and friendly staff. Our guide David and Isabel made sure we had everything we needed.

The room was huge, which was a nice surprise, and the food was really good too. Overall, it was a solid stay with no major complaints.
