The site is amazing. We received a personalized guided tour from a passionate and engaging guide. The room is huge and comfortable. Everything was perfect; I would have preferred a door instead of a curtain between the bedroom and the bathroom.

Time travel in a stunning setting, a superb suite, and the quiet countryside—nothing beats that for recharging! The value for money is very good, and the décor’s historical feel truly transported us two centuries back. Richard is a real enthusiast who shares the family estate’s history with enthusiasm; a big thank you to him and his wife for their kindness. The only downside was a slightly worn mattress (though it didn’t ruin our night). An old‑style bathtub would have added more charm to the bathroom.

Great accommodation, quiet setting, spacious flat, and a very nice host.

Everything was just right, even perfect: the welcome (the grand tour of the property was remarkable), the huge room, the bedding, the bathroom, the silence, the breakfast (the lady went each morning to a distant bakery to get fresh first‑quality gluten‑free bread). We’ll come back! The only issue was the castle signage; we didn’t see the old sign in the hedge on the first pass, hihi! That’s all.

The location was quiet and the view of the meadow with the donkeys was magnificent.
