I appreciated how they sent all the necessary information and found the bed very comfortable and the space well arranged. The living room with hot drinks was a nice bonus, and having a pet‑friendly room for our little dog was great. The breakfast was also very good. The downside was that the upstairs room’s footsteps and noise were loud, so the isolation failed. The room needed some maintenance: the tap was loose, the lock was loose, and the door made a lot of noise when closing. Parking on the street was also hard to find.

“Not worth the money”

We chose Guesthouse 34 mainly for its great reviews about the staff and breakfast, but our stay was very different. We never met the staff in person, only exchanged messages. They told us breakfast was cancelled because the person in charge was “having problems,” which was a let‑down since breakfast was a key reason for booking. They offered coffee downstairs, but the machine had no coffee. It felt like nobody was looking after the place or ensuring everything was ready for guests. The bed was very unstable and squeaky, making it uncomfortable. Overall, it didn’t match the expectations set by earlier reviews.
