The staff were friendly and the shops were close, but we stayed on the 7th floor where the window faced the courtyard and the air‑conditioner was very loud; if you want silence you need a higher floor. At 3 am the smart home turned on all the lights, so I had to get up and turn them off, but after 10 minutes the lights switched on again, and I couldn’t sleep.

The rooms were quite large and especially comfortable, and the hair dryer worked well; everything was fine.

When you arrive, the reception area could use a refresh, but the room itself is more than fine; the location is great for exploring Shanghai. The staff don’t speak English, but a translation app gets you through. The gym was closed and the breakfast was poor.
