Hotel Estée

We stayed for one night at Hotel Estée to watch the general rehearsal of the air show. The location is simply great. Directly on the lakeside promenade and we could see the show best from the hotel pool. The Executive room was very spacious, very clean (although a bit dated). We were missing nothing. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was top with beautiful lake view. The pool was also flawless. We can only recommend Hotel Estée. Thank you for the pleasant stay! We'll gladly come back.

Breakfast was fine. The location is excellent, just a few steps from the city centre, and the area is quiet, but you need to pick a room with a balcony or terrace that looks out over the lake; we switched rooms for a small extra fee because our original view was of a busy street. The hotel’s condition is probably past its prime, but I’d still choose it for my next stay.

The large balcony right by the lake and the parking in front of the hotel are positives. The bathroom is outdated, with a loose shower rod and a paint roller used to open the window. The value for money is off. The hotel is great by the lake, everything else isn’t very nice. The breakfast room is overcrowded, and the toast is moldy.
