The Hôtel Restaurant Splendid Camargue, Le Grau-du-Roi, is a seafront hotel in the historic town centre, offering air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and sea views from some balconies. Colourful, soundproofed rooms feature flat-screen TVs, modern bathrooms, and a lift. The restaurant serves traditional, seasonal cuisine. A buffet breakfast and free newspapers are provided, with nearby parking and the train station 800 metres away.

The staff are fantastic, and the location just three steps from the sea is worth the trip. The only downside was the nighttime noise from the heat pumps and garbage trucks around 5 am; we were on the first floor and perhaps in the wrong spot, but the room itself was fine.

The front‑of‑the‑sea, city‑center location is great, and breakfast on the fourth floor offers sea views and a balcony option. The bathroom has a bathtub instead of a shower, which is less convenient. No parking is available (though that’s just how the place is set up), and while unrelated to the hotel, the city’s parking policy is pricey with 7‑day, unguarded, uncovered lots.
