The owner surprised us with a blueberry tart on top of the already generous breakfast spread, and she even boiled an egg just because she knew I liked it; despite the hot weather and her frustration with the state of the garden, it still looked lovely to us, so much so that my wife ordered the owner's book. The Wi‑Fi connection was spotty.
