Aurora Distillery Cabins

The place is close to the beach, but nobody helps with questions, no one tells you you can walk around the area, the hot water lasts only three minutes, rooms are very cold, and you have to cook for yourself all the time; we didn’t see any auroras from the window or outside. Nobody explains how things work, you’re left completely alone, unsafe, in the middle of nowhere.

Nice view and free electric car charging are definite pluses, but we were disappointed overall. We told the booking team this was a honeymoon, yet the accommodation didn’t acknowledge it—no congratulatory card would have been a nice, cost‑free gesture. From the window next to the sixth front door, you can see inside quite clearly at night even though there’s a frosted film; other cabins had better privacy films. The stove didn’t work properly, the beds were too hard for our taste, and one ceiling light was off. We expected more from a honeymoon and there were several small issues that could have improved the experience.
