The location is good, but we had to deal with construction all the time while looking out from our living room. The concierge told me I had a VIP room at check‑in, yet I could have stayed at a place on the promenade with a full ocean view.

The room view is great, the beds are super comfortable, and the staff are friendly. However, the strong air freshener in the bathroom made breathing difficult. Getting pool towels from the front desk instead of having them at the pool side is inconvenient, and there is no wet‑towel disposal bin or drinking‑water refill station by the pool.

The pool and spas are very nice. The room is comfortable with many options, and the location is perfect—just steps to the sand, restaurants, and shops, and within walking distance of a large grocery store. The balcony is nice with space to sit and watch the sunset. The street noise is annoying, there is no air conditioning even though it’s advertised, and the ceiling fans cannot be adjusted.

The rooms are nice and will be updated soon, and the pool is beautiful. Avoid rooms on the north side because young kids with loud cars kept going back and forth until late at night. Don’t be fooled by the sales pitch; it’s a waste of time. They promise many free perks, but some are not actually available or have a catch. There is no air conditioning, so it can get quite warm.
