“Value for money, if you're on a budget. Good location.”

The location was great—I picked this place because it’s near the vegetarian café Herb Haus. The host was warm and welcoming, and the value for money was clear since it’s right next to Ella’s bustling main town. The only problem was that when we asked the host to help arrange transport to local sights—Ravana Falls, Ravana Cave, and the Nine‑Arch Bridge—he initially found a driver for us. But when the driver quoted steep rates, the host fully backed him and didn’t let us negotiate a fair price, which was a bit bitter. Other than that, it was a solid stay.

We added the extra breakfast for €3 and it was amazing; the second day they even made us chocolate pancakes. They were helpful and always smiled when attending to us. The bathrooms and the room were clean and well‑maintained. Highly recommend staying here. The only downside is there’s no AC, but in August the fan was more than enough.

The host was welcoming and a super nice guy, and the place sits close to Ella’s center. However, there was some noticeable noise from the busy road, especially in the front family room that opens onto the street, so earplugs are a must if you’re in that spot. I also missed a shelf in the bathroom.

“One of the best accommodations in Ella.”

Jasmine Garden Inn sits beside Ella‑Passara Road, about 500 m from Ella’s center. The owner, Amare, is very kind and hospitable. Breakfast was delicious, and the property has all the necessary facilities. Not much else to note.
