It was an amazing stay. The location near the beach is great, the bed was super comfortable, and the room was very spacious. Not to mention the hotel family – everyone is charming. We had to leave at 5 am for a train, and they gave us a tuk‑tuk ride and a staff member even woke up early to prepare a breakfast to go. Maduranga is awesome. One of the best spots on the trip. Thanks and see you next time.

A very affordable place that cost about 19 € per night at the time of booking. The location is great, just a short walk to Mirissa beach. Overall it’s a cheap spot with a good spot, suitable for a short stay but you have to make a few compromises. For the price it was okay, but don’t expect too much. Compared to other places we stayed on our Sri‑Lanka tour, it was more average. The rooms are a bit dated and cleanliness was only fair. Breakfast was good. A key tip: use plenty of mosquito spray! Even with a net we were bitten most at night.
