I was staying on the upper floor when Alison noticed I was struggling up the stairs and switched me to a downstairs room, which was much easier for me. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff went above and beyond—highly recommend.

This cozy Airbnb let me check in whenever I wanted, even after a delayed flight like mine. They provide tea, coffee, and a complimentary water bottle. The room is small but can fit a suitcase lying flat on the floor. A back door opens to a small smoking area, which is handy instead of going out the front. There’s also a lounge with couches, books, magazines, and games like darts. The dining area is beautiful and offers a wide range of breakfast options that are included in the room price. I’d definitely recommend this budget-friendly spot. The only downside was figuring out the bathroom light, which is a pull‑down string—something Australians aren’t used to.

Breakfast was good, the location we headed to in the morning was splendid, and the room was nice with two separate beds and a good shower.
