I was welcomed and introduced to the property by Frederico, and someone else carried my bags from the train station—service was excellent. The views were great, and my room was very comfortable and clean; Virginia helped with discounts for the treno card. The only small issue was that the bedroom curtain was see‑through and let you see straight onto a neighbour’s terrace. The stairs to the room are a bit intimidating, but that’s the price for the great views.

The location was great. Our Sapphire Room was on the third floor, up many stairs and a spiral staircase, which worked fine for us. The views matched the ads, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The only disappointment was the very small shower.

The room was large enough and clean, and access to the rooftop area was excellent. The air conditioner didn’t work the first day, and we didn’t expect the number of steps to the room; a little more help with luggage would have been nice.

Everything was great. Check‑in was smooth, the host met us at the station, and the room was beautifully clean with cold drinks on arrival. The Sapphire Suite had plenty of space for a family of four, and the views in both directions are truly spectacular. The location within Vernazza is perfect, so I highly recommend it. Just be aware there are many steep and narrow stairs to reach the room, which might be difficult for younger children or older guests.
