This hostel feels cozy and pretty, with spacious rooms and equally large bathrooms that are spotless. What really stands out is Teresa’s warm hospitality and her husband Sala’s friendly touch, plus Jordi, Teresa’s brother, and her mother who run the nearby restaurant, Cal Ramón. Their Catalan cuisine, especially Jordi’s signature dishes, is surprisingly affordable and top quality. The grilled pork feet and garlic‑olive oil snails are simply delicious. A perfect 10.

The location is convenient and the village itself is pretty good. The house sits beside the river that cuts through the town, away from the main road, and a supermarket is less than 50 m away. There are several eateries within walking distance. We didn’t use many of the house’s or area’s offerings, but it looks promising for cyclists and hikers. The two staff members who assisted us were friendly and accommodated our requests easily.

We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival. The hostel feels like a 4‑star hotel, with staff who are direct, friendly, and family‑like. It’s an ideal spot to relax. The bike and walking routes nearby are excellent. Breakfast at the affiliated restaurant is spectacular and very reasonably priced. The heat was intense, and the access road is tricky because many cyclists use it. Driving 7 km at 40–50 km/h can be a hassle.

“Todo correcto para pasar unos dias y desconectar de la ciudad”

The air conditioning worked well and the shower had great pressure. There were plenty of sockets and windows. I did wish there were a larger piece of furniture to store my belongings and a TV in better condition; the screen was tiny.
