Rixos Khadisha Shymkent

“Потрясающе”

I only have positive memories from my stay at Rixos Shymkent! The room was stunningly beautiful, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, exceeding all expectations in every way. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making the stay truly pleasant. The SPA was a dream: professional massages, a fantastic atmosphere, quiet, and very few people. I hosted a girls’ night there and it was simply magical! The hammam is a true architectural masterpiece. Huge thanks to all staff for the wonderful welcome, attention, and excellent guest treatment! I will definitely return next time. I also want to clarify that the “worn‑out” rooms mentioned in other reviews are simply not true; the rooms are beautiful, well‑maintained, and very comfortable. Don’t let rumors mislead you – see for yourself. Thank you, Rixos Shymkent, for a wonderful holiday!

“Так себе”

The spa was great, but the kitchen left something to be desired.

Nothing went right because they never checked us in. The website listed a price for one night, I booked it, then the hotel called saying there were supposedly site issues and quoted a rate ten times higher.

“среднее! ожидали большего от самого лучшего считающегося отеля Шымкента! бываем в Боровом в Риксосе там обслуживание та”

The décor looks a bit dated, especially around the pool area. The staff weren’t consistently competent: they were great on the first day we arrived, but after we left for a day and came back on August 6 for a two‑day stay, the reception introduced new rules, didn’t restock the minibar, and took ages to respond. On the terrace a lady served us, but we couldn’t get a birthday cake for our daughter whose birthday was August 6. When we asked for cleaning on the second day, the room was poorly tidied, the minibar remained empty, and the same used items were left out, even though we paid a 40 000‑ruble deposit per day. Service both on the terrace and in the room was slow.

“Все круто нечего добавлять”

Everything was absolutely perfect. The only downside was the breakfast closing time.
