The breakfast was nice and quiet in a large garden, and Gislane was always very available and incredibly friendly; the room was huge, the bathroom enormous, and the house was very pretty. The only downside was that the toilet was shared, which can be a bit inconvenient if you have stomach issues.

The host’s welcome, personality, attentiveness, and discretion were great, and the breakfast offered good coffee and homemade jams; the main room’s décor was high quality. However, the online description on Booking did not match reality: the photo showed owner‑only areas like the terrace, the kitchen was actually a pantry with a small fridge that wasn’t plugged in when we arrived, and the room was not very spacious.

What we liked was the tranquility, the surroundings, the large window overlooking the garden, the little terrace, and the private parking; breakfast came with homemade jams. The shared toilet was a bit annoying at night, there was no TV, but that wasn’t a big deal.
