The location was ideal, parking was good, and it was very quiet at night. I also liked the contact‑less check‑in. The only downside was that there was just a microwave for cooking, and it was in a room with a “no entry” sign on the door, which felt a bit off.

The bed was nice and comfortable, and the hostel had games to keep kids entertained, so they didn’t need iPads. It was budget‑friendly and convenient—Alton Towers is a 9‑minute drive if traffic is light, or a short walk. There were a lot of spiders and webs in the room, the sink was blocked (slow draining), and a funny smell that tasted like stale smoke. I didn’t know where to go at first, but once I found the way it was fine. I’m not too upset about those issues; the price was worth it, though it was a little disappointing.

The location to Alton Towers is perfect. The rooms are a decent size, the sheets are clean, and the beds are comfortable. There’s a small kitchen with hot water, a toaster, and a microwave—great after a long day. The only problem was that they only provided one hand towel for five people, even though the booking said towels are included. We had to pack extra towels, which was a bit rough.

Excellent value for money and a very convenient spot for our 2‑day Alton Towers trip (5‑minute drive). We stayed one night as a family of nine in two rooms—one with four beds and one with six beds—each with its own toilet, which worked perfectly. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and ideal for a short family stay. Arriving late with no other guests or staff around felt a bit spooky at first, but it turned into a funny moment that we teased our kids about, making it part of the memorable experience.
