The location was fine, but the room had already been used when we arrived well after check‑in time; there were hairs and stains on the bed, leftover food, an overflowing bin, stains in the toilet and drawer. We had to wait an hour for a cleaner, who promised a full refund, but I never received it.

The location was great, and everything important was within walking distance. No one warned me that the gate key could only be collected after 4 pm, so when I arrived late there was no one at the gate to let me in, and the owner didn’t answer calls. It’s a minor issue—just plan for it.

It’s about six blocks from Big Ben, one block to a supermarket, and another block to a bike rental; everything was great and super convenient.
