What I liked was that we had the whole place to ourselves, feeling more like a private villa; the spacious grounds let our dog run around happily; the owner was helpful and gave us all the info we needed before stepping back so we could relax as a family; a short walk brings you to a drugstore for any basics; the room came stocked with plenty of items so we hardly had to bring anything besides consumables. The only downside was that because it was a hot day, sleeping through the night was uncomfortable.

The setting was surrounded by nature and the couple who owned the place were extremely kind.

“Unique property in a rural location with a fabulous host..”

The host went far beyond his limits; he not only walked me half an hour to a fantastic outdoor onsen but also drove me to a Japanese restaurant and picked me up from both spots since I didn’t have a car. The property itself was fine for me, but you do need to be agile to reach the bedroom.
