“Όλα τέλεια!”
The rooms were large and the family was very kind, all polite, they welcomed us with a kiss and everything was perfect! I would definitely come back! If you go, don’t forget to see the lake during the day!

The location was ideal for visiting Yala NP, the staff and owners were lovely, the air‑con was cool, everything was clean and comfortable, and the traditional meals were delicious.

What a dream, what a place! When we arrived we were impressed by the hotel’s appearance, amazing. The terrace chairs also give a sense of taste and luxury. You can ask the chef what you want for breakfast; I had pancakes and a poached egg, which were perfect even though they hadn’t been made before. The room was spacious, the terrace lovely, the croaking frogs at night, all very soothing. We walked to the lake where there are elephants in the evening. Absolutely recommended! Nothing negative! I would have liked to stay longer. Oh, and note that navigation sends you the wrong way from the north; take the road with the sign to Yala Bista.

I met a generous Sri Lankan family who made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived; we stayed two nights as planned and then added two more, making it the highlight of our Sri Lanka trip and we hope to return soon. The hosts became friends, and Rasoon let us wander the grounds where we spotted buffalos, crocodiles, pans, monkeys, and elephants. The rooms were perfect with comfortable bedding, air‑conditioning, and spotless cleanliness. Udar, a young chef, prepared delicious meals for breakfast and dinner, while Mali attended to us with care. If you’re lucky, you’ll meet other travelers at Yala Vista and share evenings of laughter and conversation. We also went on a safari organized by Rasoon with the amazing Kamesh and his brother Isuru, the best safari driver in Yala who has 20 years of experience; his spirited driving is necessary to spot the animals from the best viewpoints. I recommend this place to anyone seeking an authentic experience, meaningful encounters, and nature, a stay that will stay with you forever.

If you want a place that feels less like a hotel and more like visiting old friends, this is where you should go; from the instant we stepped inside we were treated like family members, with hosts going the extra mile to keep us comfortable, fed, and happy. Their genuine kindness and attentive service—every request answered with a smile—made the experience exceptional. The property sits right in front of a lively lake teeming with crocodiles, birds, iguanas, squirrels, and water buffalo, a paradise for photographers and nature lovers alike. The rooms are simple, clean, and unpretentious, offering exactly what you need for a restful night. It’s rare to find a place where the people are as wonderful as the setting, and between the incredible wildlife and world‑class hospitality, this stay was the highlight of our journey, leaving us with full hearts and great memories.
