A beautiful place with friendly staff. Nothing else to note, everything was fine.

The hosts were very kind, the place has a pool, a playground, and many farm animals (the kids joined the morning feeding and really enjoyed it). Upon arrival you get milk, cheese, and yogurt every morning, hot croissants and eggs for breakfast, and a fully equipped kitchenette. They allow use of a laundry room with a washer and dryer. In terms of cost‑benefit it met expectations, and the property itself is beautiful and well maintained. We stayed for four nights and went on local trips – a bike tour in the nearby town, the Marmora Falls (about an hour drive), and the Umbria Adventure Park (about 40 minutes drive). The central air‑conditioning was not controllable, and we were in August during good weather, so I’m not sure how it would feel if it were hotter.

The place was gorgeous and the bed was incredibly cozy; the staff really went the extra mile, so I’ll definitely return.

We enjoyed the pool and the room, but on St Francis's Day of passing we tried to catch a taxi to the train station two hours early, got one, and missed the train by just two minutes. We offered the owner 60 € for a lift, but she refused. We ended up paying 65 € ($110 AUD) twice to reach old‑town Assisi—f#cking ridiculous. We walked 6 km round‑trip with baggage to the shops, which is too far from town; better hire a car or stay in the old town.
