The hosts were great, there was an abundance of food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the location was perfect near the Sinharaja forest entrance, and the value for money was excellent; I would stay here again if I visit the rainforest in the future. Thank you, Prem!

The location is nice, near the Sinharaja entrance and good birding spots, a calm place by the river and a decent base for exploring the area. The property itself is pleasant and has a lot of potential. Breakfast is good and the local dinner options are nice, especially the rice and curry. Overall a good stay, though there were a few noticeable issues that the owner should fix. The manager tried to add a 10 % service charge on top of the Booking price with taxes and charges, so I had to argue with the owner to sort it out. The corridor was not cleaned during our 3‑day stay and was full of dead insects, which can happen in nature but still needs to be dealt with. The access road can be a bit difficult if you come with your own car.

The balcony view is stunning, you can swim in the river. The kitchen is excellent, the staff care about guests, everything is available. The rooms are cozy, quiet and clean.
