I really relaxed here! The owner was so friendly and considerate, making me feel comfortable the whole time. Because it’s a rural house, small bugs sometimes appear, but even that feels charmingly rustic. If you visit, don’t be shy to talk to the owner in the evening – you’ll enjoy the warm, cozy atmosphere of Buan. The bike broke, so I had to walk into town.

The host was extremely friendly and offered advice and help during both planning and mishaps. He also spoke English reasonably well. The location was very nice, right in the middle of rural Korean farmland. The beds were quite stiff, and the lack of curtains plus an emergency light near the door made it hard to sleep dark. As a light sleeper, that was not ideal.

The Hanok had a floor that kept it warm even in winter, so it wasn’t cold. Because it was off‑season, I could stay alone comfortably. If I ever come back to Buan, I’ll stay at Anshinso again. The owner was very kind and taught me a lot. I usually have trouble sleeping, but during the 3 nights at Anshinso I slept very well. I don’t know why, but the space was just so comfortable. If you’re traveling to Buan, I highly recommend it. A bus trip to Nain Mountain is also nice.

I liked that it was a traditional house, and the room itself was very spacious and clean. The host took care of me very well, he gave me food and fruit in the evening and we chatted comfortably in English and Korean. He was so friendly, and gave me recommendations for my hike the next day. He also drove me to the bus stop and then to the main bus station when I wanted to leave. The location is a little out of the way, but because the host drove me it’s not too bad. When I took the bus back after hiking, I had to walk for maybe 20 minutes from the bus stop to the accommodation

The place feels like a home away from home, and even solo travelers can sense a family vibe. The owner is very accommodating, treating everyone like family members rather than just guests. I slept soundly without any noise and bonded well with the housemates—an amazing stay overall. Perfect!
