The hospitality and the excellent food were great. Nothing else to mention.

You can have excellent à la carte meals in the restaurant; breakfast is adequate but not extensive—just a standard spread with various meats, cheeses, breads, jam, a boiled egg, muesli, yogurt, tomatoes, cucumbers. No complaints there. The pillows weren’t thick enough, which is a personal opinion; tastes differ. The bathroom was quite cold without heating, but we slept fine overall.
The breakfast was delicious, and it was only about 25 minutes from Winterberg to hit the slopes. We forgot our toothpaste, but even on a Sunday the staff helped us out. Overall, a very relaxed stay :)! The only downside was that the bathroom had no heating and felt a bit cool.

The host Daniel’s hospitality, the quality of the food, and the price/value were all good; you can also eat à la carte here. We’ll definitely come back.

The room was clean, well‑maintained, and modernly furnished with a nice balcony view. The room lacked a sensor, tea, and coffee; the double room had only one chair without a table. While the owner was away, the heating was turned off during winter.
