“Krásny výhľad ale pozor na schody”

The accommodation was beautiful in the city centre with a view of Šmarjetna Gora, and there was a nice café on the ground floor serving good coffee; the price‑quality ratio was good and air‑conditioning was available. The bathroom and bedroom were clean, but the kitchen and living room weren’t vacuumed, the fridge was dirty, and the steep, winding stairs made it harder to bring luggage up.

“Eigentlich toll ,aber eben auch sehr mühsam,”

The location was great, the garden was lovely, and the reception was very friendly; the place is advertised as pet‑friendly, yet I had to carry my dachshund up the spiral staircase, the bathroom smelled like drain, it was clean but the odor lingered, and the bed was also on a different floor.

The accommodation was cozy in the heart of the old town, the staff were kind, and the hotel was within walking distance, about a 5‑minute walk from the nearest parking.

The vibe feels like a Spanish hostel with a bar terrace for a quick drink or to keep the night going, and it’s right in the city centre. The apartment gets hot because there’s no blinds, even though there’s a portable AC in the room that’s not enough, and a fan in the main room doesn’t help much.

The room on the floor is reachable by stairs, two levels up, and it offers a beautiful view of both sides of the building. On the second level there’s a roof window, and you can sip coffee while watching the mountains and the old town rooftops. It’s clean, artistic, and feels very authentic, with friendly staff who made us feel welcome.
